In support of improving patient care, University of Alabama at Birmingham Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
UAB St. Vincent's aims to provide high-quality, interdisciplinary, and innovative continuing education opportunities for health professionals. By leveraging technology to establish innovative training and education featuring internal subject matter experts from across UAB, the livestreaming program allows for a time that is convenient for individual schedules and can reduce travel and time away from practice. UAB St. Vincent's works in partnership with a diverse group of healthcare-focused organizations to produce relevant and timely education that is measurable and designed to overcome barriers to high quality care for patients. UAB St. Vincent's provides continuing education to the interdisciplinary health care team that you can view from anywhere (live in classroom, livestream, or from home).
